The missions of the legal service consist of:

-Transmission of requests for criminal record n ​​° 03 and delivery of this document to interested person.

-Transmission of requests for a Certificate of competence to the Algerian authority that issued the driving license in Algeria (daïra or wilaya).

-The protection of nationals under the consular convention and the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 02-407 of 11/26/2002 establishing the powers of heads of consular posts.

-The mediation of family disputes, in collaboration with the Social service of the consulate.

-Legal advice in matters of State and capacity of persons.

-Visits to detainees and prisoners.

1- Criminal Record Certificate

Algerian citizens registered in the Consular Section of the Embassy can request the bulletin N ° 03 from the criminal record by completing this form ( download the form ). 

The request must be made by the interested person, the following documents are required: 

  • Algerian ID.

  • A birth certificate.

  • Consular registration card. 

2- Capacity Certificate for Driving License 

The certificate of capacity can be obtained by providing the following documents:

  • The consular registration card.

  • A copy of the residence permit in Hungary - Republic of Slovenia.

  • A copy of the Driving license in duplicate.

3- Consular Laisser Passer

This document is an exceptional travel document issued to any unregistered Algerian national, to allow him to return to Algeria, in the event of loss or theft of his passport. It is valid only for the return to Algeria, for a single trip and by the most direct route.

This document can only be issued by providing the following documents: 

  • A declaration of loss or theft .

  • A proof of Algerian nationality.

  • Three recent identity photos, front view and same print (format 3.5 x 4.5 cm).

  • A return ticket


The request for the pass must, at least, be submitted to the consulate 72 hours before departure .
